Condition
The photos really do not do this car justice: this is perhaps the most pristine original and untouched Mopar underbody you will ever see. This is an undercoat delete car that has its original grey primer with body color overspray so clean you could flip the car over and eat from it. The inside of the trunk and trunk floor are also original and untouched and worthy of a close look. You just do not find cars with this level of originality every day! The car was repainted to a very high standard approximately 10+ years ago, and still looks magnificent. The interior is all original with the exception of the carpet. The engine and transmission were recently rebuilt and detailed to concours standards, along with the front suspension and K frame, we DO HAVE The ORIGINAL Stamped Black Steel Wheels. As you can see, the car is Showroom New under the hood! This is a phenomonal example of the ultra rare, ultra tough, bad to the bone street terror A12 M Code car. Many know that the A12 440+6 cars to be the ultimate Mopar muscle car! For those unfamiliar with the A12 cars, it was a $462.80 option over a base 383 Road Runner. It included the special 440 Six Pack motor with 390 HP, the first Six Pack ever fitted to a Mopar, heavy duty suspension, heavy duty 11" drum brakes, a bullet proof Dana 60 rear end with a stout 4.10:1 gear, Hemi 4 speed or Torqueflight automatic, a flat black "Lift Off" hood, 15x6 steel wheels with chrome lug nuts and with no sissy hubcaps of any kind, and many other performance oriented items. The A12 cars were no frills, balls-to-the-walls, pure street muscle. If you wanted power brakes, air conditioning, cruise control, hood hinges, fancy wheels, or any other such gingerbread, you weren't getting it here! These were SERIOUS street and drag racing machines for the guy who wanted to beat up on just about anything else on the street. These were NOT cars that were bought for grocery shopping or taking the family on summer vacation.
